Personal Software Process (PSP) and Team Software Process (TSP):

Delphi Research, Inc. provides Personal Software Process (PSP) training and Team Software Process (TSP) launch and coaching services. Delphi Research, Inc. has personnel on staff, certified by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) , to teach the following courses:

1) Introduction to Personal Process: This two-day course prepares attendees to participate on TSP teams. The course covers the key concepts and principles of the PSP at a high level so that participants understand the terminology and philosphy behind the method. This course is recommended for system, hardware and test engineers, technical writers, and others who are not software engineers, but who will be participating on a TSP project.

2) TSP Executive Strategy Seminar: This two-day introductory course for software executives and middle managers covers the key concepts and principles of the TSP and PSP from a management perspective. The purpose of the course is to provide the foundation that managers need to begin to introduce and apply the tsp in their organizations.

3) Managing TSP Teams: This three-day course for first-line managers or team leaders of TSP software development teams covers the key concepts and principles of the TSP and PSP. The purpose of the course is to provide managers and team leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively lead and coach TSP development teams.

4) PSP for Engineers: This course consists of two one-week courses: PSP for Engineers I: Planning, and PSP for Engineers II: Quality. These sessions teach software engineers the principles, concepts, and benefits of the PSP, a process-based approach for developing software. Participants who complete the two sessions will be able to apply the PSP methods to their own personal work processes and participate on TSP teams. Participants learn how to measure and analyze their personal software processes, use process data to improve their personal performances, and apply PSP methods to other structured tasks.
