Modeling and Simulation:

Modeling and simulation is a technology used to support all phases of a project lifecycle, including training, research, analysis, and acquisition. Modeling and simulation allows you to virtually simulate weapon systems, weather effects, communications systems, threats and C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) systems and the interoperability of each in a "synthetic environment". It provides reduced time to field systems, increased "closeness of fit" of systems to requirements, reduced total ownership costs and minimizes risks associated with all phases of a program.

Delphi Research, Inc. has been applying modeling and simulation to training systems for 10 years. Delphi Research, Inc. conducts use case modeling to define user-centric requirements which translate into system training designs. Through Delphi Research, Inc's extensive subject matter expertise in air combat training systems combined with end-user input, we developed Graphical User Interfaces that are intuitive, easy to use, and capable of smoothly navigating the user through the system. All GUI functions are accessible via a central toolbar or a display's context-sensitive menu system. Hot keys are also available and are user-configurable. Our advanced visualization system used on Combat Training Systems presents three-dimensional solid-fill imagery and alphanumeric data displays for both real-time training operations and for post-flight replay operations. Additionally, we have experience with interfacing to external data sources such as Electronic Warfare, Threats, Radars, and Integrated Air Defense Systems.
